Message from George

Towards the end of July an issue arose surrounding what I saw as the transparency of the workings of the band committee. This issue quickly escalated out of control, and ended up becoming very unpleasant. It has resulted in me no longer being part of the band.

I am sure by now that some of those involved in the issue and the way it played out have being busy disseminating their version of what transpired. As with all issues/disagreements, however, there are always at least two sides.

If anyone is interested in hearing from me how I view what went on which has resulted in the current unfortunate situation I’m happy to receive phone calls - 022 109 1183.

I can’t guarantee that you’ll agree with my take on the issue, or what came to pass, but at least you’ll get the 360 degree view.
